Have I killed off my french beans?

Hello All

First time grower. I've been growing some montano french beans.

I recently discovered some aphids on plants and after research on the internet saw soap water as a solution.

I think, however, I may have made the solution too strong, as ever since the leaves have begun to brown and shrivel slightly. Having realised this I watered from above in an attempt to clean off and yesterday and all night there was a torrential down pour (which Im hoping will have washed them off)

I also gave them a deep feed in an attempt to give them the minerals to fight back.

My question is: will the plants recover or am I now fighting a losing battle?
