Another plant ID

Hi, does anyone know what this guy is? I thought it was a floxglove when it was coming up so left it but it's not flowered so not so sure now?

    Probably Comfrey (Symphytum) of some description .

    Thought of that one , but P.semp. has coarse hairier leaves . Both behave like b*****y weeds!!!!image

    Just a last minute thing , clicked on your profile ; sounds like my 'cup of tea' ; into unusual plants etc.. maybe communicate via the forum ?

  • Thanks both. Sorry for my ignorance but is Green Alkanet and Pentaglottis sempervirens the same thing? When I've googled them they appear to be. I know Green Alkanet pretty well and I'm pretty sure it's not that. The leaves look different to me and, as you say, usually hairier. At least I know it probably won't bloom into something amazing and should probably just pull them up. Thanks for your help ?
