Tomato Plants Outdoors – Too Overcrowded? And when to nip them out…?

Hi all

It seems a long time ago now that I posted (and fretted) about my little baby tomato plants here:

http://www.gardenersworld.com/forum/fruit-and-veg/are-my-tomato-seedlings-leggy-and-other-tomato-seedling-advice/995899.html

Well, they are all fully grown now and doing well :)  I have around 15 in pots and a further 11 in a raised bed.  For future reference, I wondered if anyone could take a look at the photos of the ones in the bed and say whether they think the plants are too overcrowded.

Also – for this year – should I remove some leaves to create more space and better air flow?  If so, should I only remove leaves below the first truss (I've already removed the very low ones) or can I remove any that I feel would ease the congestion?

I should add that from what I can tell they all look good and healthy and are not showing signs of unhappiness from being at close quarters…

And finally…  Is it time to nip the tops to prevent any further vertical growth?  If not, when’s best to do that?

Many thanks  :)

Max
