    Dove that is what I thought it is, thank you , someone at the allotment thinks it is a cos lettuce gone to seed or a wild flower blue lettuce

    Every lettuce flower I've ever seen had been yellow. I'm not saying that isn't a lettuce flower but it looks like chicory to me.

    Not seen that before but the stem is well different from one in top picture

    I am hoping they will show me the plot it is from and if there is more flowers I will take some pictures

    I said chicory but they still think lettuce, the only lettuce I have seen flower had lots of leaves on it still
