Cucumber mosaic virus?

in Fruit & veg
Hello,
I'm new to growing vegetables - got my first allotment this year.
I was given two dwarf cucumber plants that were grown from seed and not well established when I was given them. I planted them outside and they have grown well, but after picking the first cucumber I noticed the leaves were yellow. See photo. After some reading through my allotment books I noticed something called cucumber mosiac virus. Has anyone any experience of this? If so, might this be it? If so, are the cucumbers ok to eat? I've already eaten the one from this plant!
Thank you in advance for your help.

It doesn't look like mosaic virus to me.
It's more likely a lack of nutrients - what are you feeding it with?

It doesn't seem to let me upload the photo, here's a link: http://tinypic.com/r/xgmq2u/9
Hi Pete,
We've given it tomato feed, that's it. Is this correct?
Thanks.
That should be fine generally, but the way the leaves look it seems to be a lack of nitrogen if it started at the bottom of the plant and moved upwards.
Tomato feed doesn't contain much in the way of nitrogen, if you have, or can get any Miracle Grow plant food that has a lot more nitrogen - 24 parts per measure as opposed to Tomorite at 4 parts.
I've used miracle grow for the cue's throughout the season and have abundance of them, I think the balance of miracle grow is better suited to cue's. If your cue's had mosaic virus I don't think you'd want to touch the fruit let alone eat it
