Poorly honeysuckle
My six year old honeysuckle has developed a whole area of dried out dead leaves in the centre of the plant. It has been happy since I planted it, so any advice on how to remedy this would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Could you post a photo of the whole plant and another of the damaged area Grace - It'll help us come up with suggestions

I've got one that's gone a bit crispy like yours. I put it down to the recent hot, dry spell we've had, and I haven't been watering it enough.
I've given it a good pruning of the dead bits, a good soak and mulch, and fingers crossed it'll bounce back.
Hello Pete8, yesterday a neighbour said to cut out the dead parts so that it would not spread across the whole shrub, so that is what I did. Was also suggested that I need to water it more frequently, so that is what I am doing. Thank you for replying though.
Kitty 2, am doing just as you have done, so hopefully we will both have beautiful honeysuckle next year. Thanks for replying.
