Pear Leaf Disease

The leaves on my cordon pear tree have developed nunerous black spots and curled leaves. I've googled and think it may be pear leaf blister mite attack. Have anyone come across my problem. Any advice welcome. Thank you in advance.

FFluffy; I thought I had similar with my pear tree.

Unfortunately I was told all you could do is trim the affected areas (but not so much as to harm the tree) and leave it to sort itself out.

I don't think it harms the tree overall.

Thanks Clarington. I've just come in from taking all the affected leaves out... all 3 cordons and now looks bare. Not sure if I have damaged the cordons...time will tell. I'm now going to feed and water the roots.
