My dahila was full & in full bloom, all the sudden it wilted. Still buds, but won't stand up & grow.

Have you been watering it, they are very thirsty plants
Too much hot sun will wilt them too. If they're in pots move them somewhere a bit cooler.
Some of mine wilt that are in full sun but soon perk up once watered even if I have watered well the night before! It's been so so hot
Talking of Dahlia's.....I didn't nip my dahlias so they bushed out a bit, so all I've got is single stem topped with a few flowers. Should I sacrifice the flowers on them already and snip back to bush them up a bit?
