What is this pretty little plant?
I bought several of these, planted them and chucked the labels away.
I'm so fed up with dead-heading petunias I was considering these instead for next year which seem to need no dead heading - if I knew what they were.

Hi Pete. It looks like a Calibrachoa - Double Amethyst
I think they're still petunias but doubles, Pete.
Yes Bob, Calibrachoa are just mini Petunias.
I agree LB - and 'million bells' (Calibrachoa) don't need dead-heading either, so far more likely your suggestion.

My lovely display of petunias got blasted by the recent winds and-
Every year I vow not to grow petunias again, but always succumb.
The leaves are like mini-petunia leaves and part of the petunia family as I now know.
It's gonna be Calibrachoa all the way next year
If I post a pic of wind-blown petunias again next year - feel free to remind me

this year I have planted Calibrachoa in two wall planters and I'm well pleased with them, i planted the single petal ones as it's better for bees and insects to get the pollen.
