Bug on plants through post
Hi I got a plant in the post but there are some bugs on the underside of one of the leaves with eggs I was wondering if anyone knows what these may be, the plant is in my quarantine area were I keep plants in that I get through the post to check them over before planting. Thanks for any help with this.

Just had another suggestion that they could be brown marmorated stink bugs so have cut the leaf off and disposed of the leaf.

Oh, I was just about to say 'lucky you' with all those baby ladybirds. Probably better to be safe than sorry, getting rid, such a pity.

They're not Ladybird eggs, and ladybirds don't hatch out looking like adults. I don't know what stink bugs are.
Lyn is, as ever, correct.

I wonder where the OP's plant was sent from? If from outside the UK did it go through proper channels?

Hi Dove It was from an ebay seller in Norfolk I let her know early this morning and she does not like spraying but she said she is checking over everything today at her end and spraying if she has to or may just cut the leaf off and burn. She did give me a refund which I did not want but she insisted
