Unknown house plant

Hi all

Last Sunday I bought an unusual house plant at a bootsale but haven't a clue what it is called. I think it may be of the Orchid family ?? But have no idea how to look after it.

I was told by the seller that it has vanilla scented flowers, any clue would be gratefully received. ????

Vanilla would fit the bill, but unlikely

    Any chance of a pic?

  • imageimager It has a really odd waxy looking root stock

  • Hopefully Iv managed to get a good photo of it it's approximately 8 inches tall?

  • For anyone who is curious about the unknown house plant I bought a little while ago I have managed to track down the lovely, helpful seller who informs me the plant is called Albuca spiralis also known as Sizzle Frizzle.

What an interesting plant - love the way the leaves corkscrew.
    Good luck with it
