Strange herb????

imagePlease could someone help me identify this plant?  Think it is a herb - does not flower and has a pungent smell when touched.

Pic of sage appeared! Flowers will not be spectacular.

  • Definitely looks like Sage and goes very well in a lot of dishes, especially with pork.

If it's in a pot, it would be worth feeding it with a liquid feed as it will eventually go yellow and look rather poorly once the nutrients have been used up.

In the right conditions it grows beautiful purple flowers that last for many weeks but have only seen this happen on the allotment. In a pot it grows like mad and pruning it back makes it come back even more vigorous. A strange but very tasty herb if used in moderation.

Sage also goes very well with courgettes and squashes of all sorts. image
