Leaf cutter bee

I see there is an old thread on here on this subject, watched the bee removed chunks from the Rhodonendron leaves, then going into a drainage hole of a pot of strawberries, its ne of those cheap plastic pots that you buy plants in from a garden centre or nursery. I gather shes in there to lay egss, hope this isnt a silly question will they eventually hatch and I have a lot of bees, should I do anything?  Am worried about watering the pot.

I'd leave everything alone. They don't form huge swarms. If you water the pot, you might drown the nest.

    In London. Keen but lazy.

I agree with B3...leave it alone and just enjoy it, they are fascinating to watch as they cut out the small disc of leaf / petal.

I had them in the garden last year and they loved the Black-eyed Suzi

I have a leaf cutter bee nesting in a pot of sempervivums in the greenhouse and it is fascinating to watch it fly in with leaves and dive into the pot. It can't get out of the greenhouse until the vent opens or I go out to open the door but it seems quite happy with this arrangement and doesn't get trapped behind the glass like most insects when looking for a way out.
