Cat poo in the onion patch

The neighbours' cat has done its business in my onion patch - three or four times in the last couple of weeks, judging from tonight's clean-up operation.  Are the onions still safe to eat?

Yes, just wash them well before you take the outer skin off.  They won't be ready for harvesting yet, we will probably get plenty of rain before then.

Try and string some black cotton over the area like a spiders web, to put the cat off.

     Thanks fidgetbones, much appreciated.
