Yellow tomato leaves and brown tips

Hi everyone, you have all been a great help as i try and grow tomatoes and some other veg for the first time.

Now i have a slight problem with the new foliage coming on my tomatoes. It appears to he going slightly yellow and also going brown at the tip of each leaf.

I have been trying to feed my plants comfrey, just for the satisfaction of doing it all naturally but maybe its deficient in something ?

The 2 plants i have been feeding tomorite dont appear to have this problem.

Ill try and attach a picture and any help would be great.

Thank you

Jamie

There's a problem with attaching pics at the moment Jamie ... it's being looked into .......

Comfrey is high in nitrogen ,,, not really what your tomatoes need at this stage... they need potash ... I'd stick to the Tomorite just now.

Managed to get the pic up here. Does it help identify the problem ?

Is it just a leaf or two Jamie?
Toms are tough ol'plants and with the heat are growing very quickly this time of year.
I get similar patches on the leaves. I usually either leave alone, or snip off the yellow bit with scissors.
Nothing to concern yourself about unless a lot of the leaves are looking like that - which is unlikely.
As Dove mentioned above - stick to Tomorite (or similar)

thanks pete, yeh its only a few leaves on a few of the cherry tomato plants. the beef steak plants dont seem to have any yellowing of new leaves. no idea why that is the case..

    thanks again,
