Which colour netting
Does it matter which coloured netting to use for covering fruit cages and vegetables? I have the opportunity to get some blue netting but the weave is fine (2-3mm) and I am concerned this will block certain light frequencies from the cage. I know it is a technical question but hope someone has the answer.
Thanks.

A mesh of 2-3mm will not block any frequencies of light.
You can prove it yourself by just looking through the mesh - all colours will remain the same.
2-3mm mesh will reduce the amount of light reaching your plants, but all frequencies will get through the mesh to your plants.

But surely mesh that fine will prevent pollinating insects getting to your fruit bushes

Unless you wait for the fruit to be pollinated first, then cover them up before they start to ripen. I think that was what Monty done a week or so ago on GW
