6 to 8 weeks ago this ceanothus was magnificent now it looks near to death any idea's Lester image

    Sorry Bulkerb, we can't see your photos at the moment - there's something wrong with the site.  Hopefully it'll be up and running ok tomorrow.

    Probably nothing you've done , but Ceanothus have a bit of a reputation (I've found') , for suddenly expiring for no apparent reason .

    Did it dry out, Bulkerb?  It's obviously very close to that wall, and - depending on where you are in the country - we've had some very dry weather.

    Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

     They do sometimes just 'turn up their toes' ....  that tendency coupled with the very dry winter and spring, plus being so close to that wall, plus having put on a magnificent display of flowers and then having to deal with a heatwave ... . just  a combination of several difficult circumstances.  image
