Unhappy fig tree
I moved my fig tree from one garden to another. When i replanted it its become very droopy and slightly yellow. Ive put compost around the roots and plenty of water but still looks sad. Any advice please .

Any move can stress plants, and being a tree, it's not too surprising. The larger the specimen the bigger the risk. How long have you planted it in and when did you start seeing the drooping? The new way of planting in trees is to not go for the deepness, which many still do, but thinking about how longterm roots growing underground. That tends to be horizontally.
When watering, think watering a wider area too and lots of it because it's a tree and we're in the middle of summer. This will need to be done right the way through to autumn at the very least.
If it has huge top growth, maybe consider reducing some of the branches. I know this is not nice advice, but right now, the tree needs to settle and strenghten itself in the roots system.

If you are going to cut back the branches, think of taking a few cuttings at the same time. Fig trees root readily and you will have replacement plants should your tree not survive.
