Plant I.D. query

Hello again, it's the amateur gardening lover again!

So I've been developing the communal area and we have come along quite well. I've been given lots of free plants which are going to give some lovely green in the winter months, but there are a few that a neighbour has planted up which neither he or myself know what they are. I've attached some photos and would really appreciate an I.D. and help with bringing them on.

I also managed to collect a free Fig tree. It was doing really well even when we repotted it to a bigger pot, but recently it's started losing it's leaves which have turned yellow before the fall. However the tips of the branches encouragingly show buds. I've looked on line to see if I can find out the problem and it seems that either over watering or under watering can cause this; however my neighbour who is Greek and is much more well versed in certain areas, says that it must be kept wet at all times and that any info I got from Gardeners World is incorrect which leaves me in a bit an awkward position.

Despite getting all 6 residents approval to do something nice with what used to be a communal washing line area, and being given planters, a bench and a new rotary washing line, by the Council, I have come under a lot of criticism from one or two neighbours, asking me 'what are you doing or why do we have all these pots?' bit soul destroying seen as there are only a couple of people out the 6 who've 'helped me'! Anyway I'll keep going and any advice would be much appreciated.

I have attached photos of plants I need an I.D. and the my poorly Fig Tree.imageimageimageimage

It's not true that fig trees need to be kept wet at all times. They are a Mediterranean plant after all. I lived in Greece for 11 years and had a garden with fig trees. It's true that the leaves will yellow if under-watered, but in summer weather they just need a good soaking once a week

They do best in reasonable fertile soils but will put all their energy into growth rather than flowers (and fruit) if the soil is too rich in nutrients. As yours is in a pot it will benefit from a liquid seaweed feed once a week but as that can be expensive, liquid tomato feed can be used instead. It could be that this is what your plant needs at the moment.
