I am delighted this year, as I always wanted to grow sea holly. My neighbour gave me a plant from her garden , as now it is in full bloom. I would like to know how to dry this beautiful flower
it'll pretty much dry itself, but you can cut it and hang it upside down in a garage/ shed to dry. Make sure it's got plenty of air circulating and it'll dry a treat.
I cut at the base after the flowers have opened fully, and hang upside down in the garage. One left will chuck seeds around and you will have them for ever more.

You may like to leave a flower head on, it self seeds very easily, they look nice in groups rather than just one plant.
