Identify plant please

Hi,

just need help to identify this plant/tree? Planted it last summer I think and it grown to this giant, shadowing everything around it so will need a move too in winter.

    Sambuccus nigra ... The common elder, fragrant flowers around May time and berries in the autumn ... Lots of recipes for flowers and berries online. Great for wildlife. 

    You can coppice it in the early spring but you'll lose the flowers. image

    looks like Elder, Sambucus nigra, to me . Do the leaves and stems smell?

    Hi all,

    thank you for the quick replies so nice to be back in the garden and learn something every time!!

    It only have 2 bunches of flowers by the end of spring, and I need to cut half of it down due to overtaking all the sun light of the plants around it. So I might move it to a open area by winter.
