Potato scab

Hi
I was going to ask if my potatoes had blight but I erred on the side of caution and dug them up and the leaves went to the tip.
Having dug them up I have found some appear to have scab
They are Charlotte, grown in 5L bags from the t&m offer
Reading up on scab I think it occurred due to under watering
Can I use the spent compost for anything or should I just chuck that too?
Are the brown spots on the leaves a sign of scab? I didn't find reference to that in the info I found. Please also see the pic of some tomato leaves - could they have the same thing?
