Clover ?

A friend has which to me looks like clover in his lawn as they have very small blue flower heads, it is a creeper and seems to grow more often where the lawn is impoverished ie where the moss is more prevalent.
I would like to know if I am right and if so how does he go about removing it from his lawn.

It could be Prunella vulgaris (Self heal).
I am at present creating a mini meadow and actually trying to introduce this and other lawn 'weeds' to my sterile looking lawn.
