Potatoes

I have just harvested my potatoes & was wondering if it is okay to plant a second batch , straight away, in the same soil/compost?

I would not plant another batch in the same soil so soon after the first batch were harvested.I have sown another batch in the same area the following year when the soil has recovered but then I would stock rotate so every two years I would grow potatoes in a different area. This stops any chance of problems with wire worms or other soil borne pests.

Enjoy your harvest=- cant beat fresh potatoes

Thanks Jolly G. I am looking forward to trying my potatoes. They are the first successful batch I have tried to grow!!
