Kestrel Second Early Flowers?

Hi there, I was just wondering -- I'm growing second earlies in bags, and it's my first time growing vegetables. I've got plenty foliage (although a lot of the lower down leaves got nibbled by slugs...), but no flowers.

According to the information for Kestrel second earlies, they're supposed to flower in June and July, but there's nary a sign of flowers.

I've been feeding and watering once a week (was using Gro-more's organic veg feed, but eventually switched to Tomorite since I've got tomatoes as well, and I don't need as much feed in my can as I would with the former). I even chitted my potatoes before planting, which was back in the middle of March.

I know it's still early July, but... I was hoping for some sign of flowers to come. I don't know if it's just because it's been so cool and damp here in Glasgow.

Am I just being impatient?
