pruning blackcurrants and redcurrants

Can anyone tell me if this is correct::-
redcurrants....they bear fruit on last years` older shoots so be careful about removing newer ones. Clip back only to give the bush more space inside the bush.
blackcurrants....they bear fruit on young wood so prune back the shoots that have already produced fruit this year.
