Black spot on roses advice please
I have various sorts of roses in the garden which are all are happily in flower and producing new buds but as you can see from the photos there is what I assume to be blackspot on some of the leaves. How should I deal with this? Should I remove any leaves that are affected or just let nature take its course? Is there any spray that can help? I know from my previous garden when I first came across this the rose which always produced lot of blooms but when it was covered in blackspot just dropped all it's leaves and looked fairly sick. It did recover and is back flowering this year. Any advice would be very much appreciated.

If they are still vigorous and producing many blooms, I would leave them be. It's common towards autumn time, leaves may start to drop off more and the branches become more bare, then you could cut off the affected areas. Always get into the habit of collecting the diseased leaves away from the soil. You want to keep the base areas clean and not infect the areas.
