Tiny vine, ivy or creeper plant

  • Hi Kitty 2,

Thank you once again for your reply.

In answer to your questions; no, not edible, not really ornamental either (although it should look good), more functional.  I'm looking at using it as shading.  The mesh will be flat and I'm looking for full coverage. As I mentioned to BobFlannigon, it would be good if the plant would creep well or fast as long as it has the mesh to grow on and then more or less stop growing once the mesh is covered (if there is such a thing).  At the moment I'm looking at the mesh being adjustable between vertical and horizontal and it will sometimes be in the sun and sometimes in the shade. I will design the container and/or growing medium to suit the plan, however the smaller and simpler the better.

Lysimachia nummularia 'Aurea'? More a trailing, hanging plant but may be able to train it up a mesh.

  • Hi Guybrush,

    Thank you very much!

    All the best.
