Any idea what this is, it appeared about 2or 3 years ago and I know I didn't buy it. It's evergreen with no flowers . Every year I think I'll pull it up but it gets to live another year.
Hard to say how long, it's already branched a bit. I don't know which one it is but lean towards D. laureola, a native plant. A nice shrub for a shady spot

I agree, a nice find and worth waiting for flowers which should be highly fragrant.
That's a nice surprise , glad I didn't pull it up . How long do you think before it might flower? I haven't a clue how it got there.
