ID of this blossoming tree?

Hello,

My friend from China visited a Cumbrian garden centre earlier this year, and she wants to know the name of the plant in the photo. My best guess is cherry, but I can't make a positive identification, so I thought I'd ask you folks. Many thanks in advance.

    One of the double flowering cherries by the looks of things.

    If that's Hayes garden centre's sign, you could email them and ask them the variety...

    Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
