Ligustrum jonandrum
one of my ligustrum trees which are 15 years old has started balding. First noticed this in late winter now it's very obvious and on inspection the top of its trunk is split and crumbly on the side where it's bald. Any tips please on how to treat and cure?

Very prone to honey fungus I'm afraid.
I'm not saying it IS HF, but it might be the start of it.
How can Honey Fungus be treated for a possible cure and recovery. Any tips please.
