hi all. I'm brand new on here and hoping for some advice. I have 3 magnolias and 3 monkey puzzle trees growing in pots. All about 3-5 years old. Could anyone please tell me what would be best to feed them with? Many thanks, Gragam
best thing you can do with the monkey puzzles is plant them in the ground and stand well back, they'll grow quickly once in the ground, they really don't like being in pots. they are called Chilean pines for a reason! they can grow as big as a pine tree given the room to grow.
magnolias are slightly more tolerant of being in pots (but not much) I would feed them regularly with multi purpose liquid feed (something like liquid seaweed would do well)
Hi and thanks for the reply. I just don't have the room to plant any of them in the ground so they'll have to remain in pots for the next cpl of years or so. Would the monkey puzxles respond to liquid seaweed aswell?

yes, any plants in pots will enjoy a good feed during the summer
