Hello,

I've been away for a couple of weeks and come back home to this in my garden.

my plant (I don't know what its name is) which has been in my garden for a 2/3 years has suddenly grown four 'storks' which are about 4m high with purple leaves on them.

Ive been told its just flowering and it hasn't effected any other plants/grass which are around it, and we have just had rain followed by a week of really hot weather, but it hasn't done this before..

Can anyone tell me exactly that is it and if its normal?

Cheers, Matt

There have been quite a few posts about Phormuims flowering for the first time this year - perhaps the conditions have been right.
