It looks more like a plum than a cherry.

Are they soft and ripe when yellow?

Can we have a look at the leaves and branches of the tree and how the fruit hangs on them?

Stella is red when ripe as are most, maybe all, cherries

    what do they taste like?

They look like mirabelle plums. What does the stone inside look like. ?

imageThey are the size of a cherry but do taste like a plum. The stone looks as though it could be whitish and the same size as cherries.  Very sweet and juicy. Hope this pic helps. Thanks again for your help.

Cherry plum also known as Myrobalan plum. Makes great jam.
