Hi,

Please could anybody help me to identify this plant that is growing in an abandoned plot that I have found near my allotment.

Is it a flower, or is it something edible?

    Phlomis russelliana, not an eater

    Looks like Phlomis russeliana (aka Turkish or Jerusalem sage.)  No uses that I'm aware of but might be worth a google.

    A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
