Poorly Phormium

in Plants
I planted some Phormium's in polots earlier this year in good compost. The leaves are starting to discolour. Is this likely to be from overwateeing, or poor drainage, or does it look like lack of water? I give liquid feed once a week.

I've grown them occasionally over the years until they get too leggy. It looks like some of last years leaves are dying back, but it also looks like there are plenty of new leaves to replace them. If it's just a few leaves at the base of the plant, just cut them off.
I'm not sure they need feeding quite so frequently, but I'm no expert on these.
