What is this? Ornamental grass?

So just noticed this single stem what looks like a grass, roughly 2-3ft tall with a seed head/flower bud, oval shaped which is about an inch or so big. Must have grown very rapidly because I didn't notice it before. What is it? Any one have any ideas? Only thing I can find similar is bunny tails but aren't they much shorter?

Ah, thank you. Could have sworn it was a grass, recent obsession of mine:) No idea where it's come from, I certainly didn't plant it. Can't wait till it flowers. Thanks for your responses. Still waiting for my giant alliums to flower as well.
