evergreen tall decorative shrubs for shady areas
I am looking for a decorative evergreen shrub which will grow to about 6 - 8 foot to act as a screen from newly extended (6 metres) property at back of my garden. as it is not my fence I cannot erect trellis etc. I am aware of the obvious choices - red robin, laurel etc.
Any suggestions?

These plants have proven themselves to adapt well to the conditions. They all flower and some have have lovely berries. Elaeagnus Ebbingei and Submacrophylla. Daphne Odora and Viburnum Tinus.
