ID needed please

Hi folks,this is growing in a sink from bulbs,about 8-10 inches in height,in flower now. id would be welcome pleaseimage

    Looks like one of the sparaxias to me, or a close relative perhaps.

    Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

    Anomatheca laxa,  False Freesia, I've got lots of those, courtesy of someone on the seed swap thread, you can save the seeds and they will flower and make a bulb in the first year. Very pretty, all shades from white to your dark colour.. 

    they don't over winter here so I keep them in pots, I dug the bulbs up and planted them again in the Spring, when I also sowed their seeds.

    Thanks both,looked up yours lyn  spot on thanks for the info,dont know where they came have come through 3 winters here in shropshire but get protection from house wall in the sink,they are a wonderful little plant.

    Very exposed here, if you want more just wait for seeds to ripen on the plant then catch them, you have to be quick, they ripen and pop. Sow as any other seeds, every one will germinate then prick out into little pots.
