    Fantastic lupin.  image

When the flowers on the main spike are over you can cut it back to just above where the side shoots start and they'll carry on flowering for a while longer .... it's what we all aim for but don't always manage.

And you've got them right against a fence.  I've never grown lupins but you've inspired me to try them in a similar spot.  Did you start them in pots, or sow them where you wanted the flowers?  And did they need winter protection?

hello there, I started them in pots last summer and planted out beginning September,I planted out around 30 and about 20 survived the winter in London(UK). they have flowered since beginning of May and still going. We did have some strong  winds for a while so i used large  canes to support but now removed them.

I have started more seeds this year in pots ?
