Evergreen 4in1 Complete
Used this on our lawn, then after walking on the grass and onto our slabbed patio, there are stained footprints all over, it looks a right mess. Spent hours with a pressure washer trying to remove them to no avail. There is a precaution in very small print that warns about this and so I should take some of the blame but I have used weed and feed many times and never ever had this problem. ScottsMiracle-Gro say, try using lemon juice and water or rust remover, I hate to think what this product may do to pets paws or stomach's It is being sold at WICKES for half price, makes you wonder!!

I think it's the ferrous sulphate that's in there to kill moss that has caused the marks. It's a type of iron, so they're rust marks.
I don't know but I would think they'll fade away with time.
I don't think there are concerns re. safety. You can buy ferrous sulphate capsules for anemia

I'm guessing that the grass was wet when you applied the 4 in 1 as I've only ever had problems with overspill if it isn't swept off slabs before it rains, or the grass watered. Sadly, once it does stain, it seems to be virtually impossible to remove although it does fade over time.
