Pic.3 is Scrophularia nodosa (Figwort) .

Pic.1 looks like Lavatera trimestris (Annual Mallow).

Not quite sure on Pic.2 ; maybe the enlightened will help .

    1) is musk mallow (Malva moschata)

A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.

I love no.1. It cuts well too. Thought it might Ben a mallow as I have a perennial lavertera  it looks like. By the way, how do I pronounce 'lavetera'?

    Is the yellow a heliopsis?

I suppose the plant behind the yellow flower is not the same plant? Could the yellow daisy be

    Sphagneticola trilobata?

    No. 2 is Corn Marigold.

Hard to be certain but No. 3 looks more like Scrophularia auriculata (Water Figwort).

  • When the Figwort (pic 3) has finished flowering it may be worth cutting the seed heads off. It's a mysterious looking plant and quite sinister to some but pretty harmless and has been used for a long time in herbal medicine.

In gardens though it can be a nuisance if the seeds are left to disperse... trust me on this! image
