Shiny White Crystalized Slime at night turns brown by morning.

I need help to decipher this.

I got home last night looked at my garden and found Shiny White Crystalline Slimy stretched salivary like substance but this morning it turned brown.image

    It's a fungus - the white stuff is mycelium, the connecting 'roots'  and the brown bits are thr fruiting bodies or 'toadstools' that produce the spores. It is probably feeding on the roots of that dead or dying tree, as honey fungus does, but has also attacked that green shoot. Perhaps a mycologist will come along soon to tell you what fungus it is. It does not look anything like actual honey fungus.

    probably one of the many different types of fungi or slime mold - the brown growths are the fruiting bodies. Nothing to worry about - if will disappear as quickly as it came.

    Yes, a slime mould rather than a fungus (not related). Looks like it could be one of the Stemonitis species.
