Clematis Aierta

TreadukTreaduk Posts: 42

Evening all,

I hope you've all had a good week!

I ordered a clematis lucky dip from Thompson Morgan. Unfortunately one was damaged in transit and they quickly replaced it with one labelled Clematis Aierta. T thing is, I can't find any reference to a clematis of that name anywhere - not even on their website! I only really want to know what colour it's likely to be but dont want to seem like I'm looking a gift horse in the mouth so thought I'd try on here!

Thanks in advance,

Tom

Is it a proper label or just hand written and might be an abbreviation? Can't think what of though

I don't think arten is a clematis variety, It only appears in German links so is probably a German word, I don't speak German. The illustrations are all of different clematis

Clematis Arten means clematis varieties, emphasis on variet"ies" i.e. plural.

Thanks Sue, I thought it must be something like that.

Thanks all for trying - I'll email them and find out.  Failing that I'll just plant it and see how it goes!
