Polish Spirit not flowering
This year my clematis Polish Spirit is lovely and leafy as usual but showing no signs of flowers. I don't believe I have treated it differently from usual, but of course it has been very hot lately.. It shows no signs of suffering from lack of water. I feed it from time to time with liquor from the wormery compost, but I don't think I'm overdoing it to produce leaf over flowers.
Any ideas please? I am quite prepared to do things differently to get it going! By the way, my clematis Montana recovered from the cold, and Lady Northcliffe is flowering in her pot.Thank you.for any advice.

Still only June, some of the Large Late flowered Group are just starting to flower, others have no signs of bud formation yet.
Thank you. That's interesting and encouraging, but I am basing my concern on what my own weekly gardening diary tells me, and for the past three years at least it has been flowering by now.
Mine isn't flower either but looking through my photos from last year, it didn't start until the 2nd week in July. A few weeks either way is down to weather patterns - this year has been quite different to the last few.
