Michaelmas daisy in flower!

One of my Asters, Herbstschnee is starting to flower, about three months early! I also have Schizostylis in flower (along with other people). I am not complaining and I am not worried, but I am surprised at how they seem to be confused by the weather, which I don't think has been particularly unusual compared to other years.

I've got flower buds appearing on mine too - Aster Little Carlow - will be in flower in a week or so. I thought it was a bit early

@Alan Clark2 in Liverpool Ditto here. I have Schizostylis / Hesperantha / Kaffir Lily given to me 3 years ago. Flowered in november the first year, and nothing since them. Had plunked them in a pot and forgotten about their existence and suddently yesterday found them in flower (out of season!). They are light pink in colour, maybe 'Pink Princess' cultivar.

I always find the flowering of michaelmas daisies slightly depressing as it heralds the end of summer. It's one of the weeds I don't tolerate for that reason.
    In London. Keen but lazy.
