Lupins & Delphiniums

I bought established and flowering lupins which looked healthy. Put them in and watered everyday. At first they were fine but now they have gone all brown and died. What do I do next? Can someone advise please. Same with Delphiniums

    Can you post some photos please, to give us some clues?  If the photo doesnt upload try reducing the size.

    Photos would help have you checked roots? Could it be the dreaded vine weevils?

    you can cut the flowering spikes on delphiniums, you can get a second set of flowers
