my Allium just came out of no where. I transferred the 2 I had and split the bulbs and this year I had about 12 of them. Very beautiful, tall, and purple. Now all a sudden all the flowers have turned white from purple. What happened ?

You sure they are not just coming to the end of their flowering period and drying out? All mine have now lost thier bluey/purpley look. If you haven't alreadu tried... alliums make great dried flowers.
I don't know how long they are suppose to last so I guess that's it. So sad, the purple was so beautiful. How do I dry them ?
