image Can anyone tell me what this flower is please, I received it at part of a bouquet

    My white Agapanthus flower buds just swelling now look rather like that too.

    It looks like garlic which has gone to seed.

    Allium - agapanthus - I love the spikey bit on top.

    What fun.  Treasure it until it opens and then save the seed.  Who knows what you might end up with.

     I agree with that, it's not a bud, it's already spent. It's a seed head.
