BRAND NEW GARDENER!!! What is this beautiful weed???

Hi,
im a brand new gardener and have planted lots and lots this year and last but have noticed that this 'weed' is popping up in a few places in my garden this year.....what is it? I actually l actually love it.....beautiful purple flowers, attractive leaves and tall to cover up fences! I'd like to encourage this all along my fences. Looks like some kind of geranium!? Am I right???

Looks more like a mallow to me but I agree it's very pretty
Malva sylvestris, when I was a child they used to sprout in my garden until it became a jungle...
Who called it a weed, save me some seed its gorgeous!
